Figment is an interactive and participatory art festival which started in NY a few years back. It has since spread to several other cities. This year was the first for Figment DC. All the art at figment is audience engaging.
Many people wondered about the stage light. It was lighting the past and the future.
I had asked friends and public to bring found items to help make this piece. Myself and a couple of other people brought the weeds.
The umbrella was my favorite. It added much needed color. It spun with the wind and at the end while we were taking everything apart, a homeless lady in a wheel chair asked if she could have it.
Another favorite, the TV dinner. This corner was made by 4 different people.
Kids loved the piece the most.
